Here at YSS, we are not just interested in selling you a Seakeeper.
Much of our business is doing routine service work. We are proud to care for 95% of San Diego's fitted Seakeepers.
We have been doing this for over ten years now and are very grateful to all of our customers.
We have all the custom tooling and service kits required to perform any service task on your Seakeeper, including brake, bushing, and vacuum service work.
We also have the custom specialty rigging equipment and expertise needed to move any Seakeeper in or out of any space, onboard any boat if required.

Our team is trained and certified to install Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizers and Seakeeper Ride systems for vessels of varying sizes. A professional installation ensures minimal downtime for your boat while providing additional benefits, like our custom solutions, comprehensive service, and product warranties.
We’ll start with a vessel assessment to identify the best unit for your boat. Next, we’ll create a custom solution that addresses your concerns without breaking the bank. Once we decide on a solution, our technicians will install and rigorously test your new Seakeeper stabilizer or Seakeeper Ride system to ensure everything is working properly. Finally, we’ll take you through an owner orientation process, ensuring you and your boat are happily on the water for years to come.
Gyroscopic stabilizers are complex devices that require regular upkeep to stay in peak operating condition. It’s recommended that you have your Seakeeper device inspected and serviced annually to prevent unnecessary wear and tear or damage. Whether you’re seeking routine maintenance or need to solve a code 26 valve 1 fault, our technicians are standing by to assist you.

Our flat rate annual service cost for Seakeeper models 1 through 14 is $550. Then, a $750 flat rate for all M series Seakeepers and models 16 and above. We will provide a written estimate if your system requires further work and/or parts. Travel time for remote service work is billed at $75 per hour, which is 50% of our standard $150 per hour rate.
THE ANNUAL SEAKEEPER SERVICE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
YSS also regularly performs specialty Seakeeper surveys for local yacht surveyors, brokers, and owners selling or buying a vessel fitted with a Seakeeper stabilizer. ($450 flat rate including warranty/service history and full system inspection and testing report).
